At Ellison Portrait Studio, we photograph you, your family, children and pets in a natural garden-like setting creating magnificent images. We specialize in child and baby photography, pet and animal photography including horses and equestrians, and you and your family or you and your pets. Photographer Susan Ellison will also take great care with your engagement and wedding photo sessions creating lasting memories of that special day.

Your session can take place in our studio, located on an acre of majestic, old pine trees and flowering shrubs with bountiful amounts of gorgeous filtered sunlight or we can go out on location. Choose from the numerous, breathtaking outdoor locations of North San Diego County only minutes from Ellison Portrait Studio. We are proud to say we are set up to be on the move. With careful, artistic design, we will set up a descriptive and beautiful set using the outdoor environment.

Each portrait session begins with a complimentary design consultation, which allows us to plan details of your portrait such as location, ideas, clothing, colors and what you would like the portrait to convey. During your portrait session, a friendly atmosphere will put you at ease. Careful attention is given to each individual’s needs and desires for their portrait session and you are not rushed. Your input plays a key component in the results of the images.
